More photos!

For our walk in May we went to Preston Park, Tetbury and then walked along the road towards Long Newton, crossed some fields and arrived back in Tetbury by the side of the Hospital. We had a lovely lunch in the garden of The Royal Oak. It was an eventful walk! One of our members lost one of her dogs in Preston Park and returned to the car park to find her. As we walked across fields towards the hospital, another dog suddenly appeared chasing a deer – he soon gave up knowing he wasn’t nearly fast enough. However it was very hot and he managed to find a water trough to have a bath in – unfortunately it was full of duck weed and he came out as a spotty dog!! Finally, Gwyneth tripped over a dog on a lead and sprained her wrist.

Photos

The following photos were taken at a recent Bite to Eat – a naming ceremony in Cherington. We used the bunting we made in the spring for the first time – it transformed the marquee and was greatly admired.

April 18 Meeting

We had an interesting meeting in April given by Virginia and David Ansett entitled ‘The Fab 50s’. They brought along lots of items of clothing, toys, books, kitchen utensils, etc to illustrate their talk. It brought back lots of memories for some of us!
